As a child, I didn’t like having a younger sibling. I hated that all the attention was directed towards the younger one. But aren’t all older siblings supposed to feel jealous of their younger sibling? After some time I started to get used to the fact that I was no longer the center of attention to my family. It made me angry, of course, but I couldn’t do anything about it. As the years went by, I started to love my sister more and more. She is a pain in the butt, but I wouldn’t ask for a more caring, and loving sister. She is my best friend and I enjoy spending time with her.
Lost in my own world, I drown myself in the music I love listening to. Everywhere I go, it’s always stuck in between my ears. As I tuck them in my ears, it keeps me from stressing out about all the things I need to do. It acts as my safety, and I feel more comfortable once they are propped inside my ears. From listening to The XX, to Led Zeppelin, to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, I keep myself listening to a different genre everywhere I go. As soon as they are inside, nothing else matters besides my thoughts and the music. It keeps me occupied and allows me to relax.
